They’ll always be daddy’s little girls! Bob Saget posted a sweet photo of himself with two of his three former Full House daughters, Ashley Olsen and Candace Cameron Bure, to Instagram on Thursday, Dec. 10.
“Ashley and Candace at my 35th Scleroderma Research Foundation event #CoolComedyHotCuisine @CarolinesOnBway,” he captioned the photo. “Means so much to me.”
The comedian, 59, famously played Danny Tanner on the hit ‘90s sitcom series. Olsen, 29, was one of two child actresses who played his adorable daughter, Michelle Tanner. (She shared the role with her twin sister, Mary-Kate.) Cameron Bure, 39, played spunky teen D.J. Tanner.
Jodie Sweetin played middle daughter Stephanie.
In the photo, the proud TV dad looked happy to see his two on-screen daughters, both of whom have moved on to successful careers of their own. (Cameron Bure is a co-host on The View, and Olsen is a fashion designer, producer, author, and businesswoman.)
The Full House cast has remained close over the years. Olsen previously made an appearance at Saget’s Broadway performance for Hand to God in November.
And Cameron Bure will be joining Saget and many of the original cast members — including John Stamos, Dave Coulier, and Lori Loughlin — for Netflix’s upcoming Fuller House reboot. The Olsen twins will not be taking part in the new series.
Late last month, Saget told the Today show that though he didn’t attend Mary-Kate’s hush-hush nuptials to Olivier Sarkozy on Nov. 27, he was “very happy” for his former costar.
“I was not invited, but I’m very happy, and I sent a mazel gov text,” he said on the show. “I love her very much, and I hope they’re happy.”
