You drive me crazy! Britney Spears is scheduled to join James Corden as a passenger on his fan-favorite Carpool Karaoke segment later this month.
The “Make Me” singer, 34, is set to revisit some of her biggest hits from her 18-year career when she appears on the Thursday, August 25, episode of The Late Late Show.
“Took a ride around LA with @JKCorden & did a little #CarpoolKaraoke,” Spears confirmed via Twitter on Wednesday, August 10. “Watch the @latelateshow on 8/25 to see it!”
The pop princess — who is also scheduled to headline the iHeartRadio Music Festival in Las Vegas in September — joins a series of recent Carpool Karaoke guests, including First Lady Michelle Obama, Selena Gomez, Adele, Nick Jonas and Lin-Manuel Miranda.
The day after her appearance, Spears will release her ninth studio album, Glory, her first since 2013’s Britney Jean.
“It’s the best thing I’ve done in a long time,” the mom of two told V magazine of her new LP earlier this year. “I’m proud of the work, and it’s very different; It’s not what you would think at all. … I just want it to be done right, so that my fans will truly appreciate it.”
Spears has already treated fans to three new songs from the forthcoming album — “Make Me,” “Private Show” and “Clumsy” (out at midnight) — as she gears up for its August 26 release.
The Late Late Show with James Corden airs on CBS weeknights at 12:37 a.m. ET.
