Britney Spears is soaking up time with her sons, Preston and Jayden, while exploring Dollywood for the first time.
“Wow wow!!! I didn’t know this place existed, so incredibly cool and exciting… but extremely hot and my skirt is too big for me… family outings!!!” Spears, 44, wrote via Instagram on Wednesday, October 7. “DOLLYWOOD IS ABSOLUTELY ADORABLE!!! 🌹🌹🌹.”
Alongside the message, Spears shared a photo featuring the pop star with her arms around sons Preston, 21, and Jayden, 20, who smiled for the camera. Spears wore a face mask and sunglasses as she posed for the camera. (Spears shares her sons with ex Kevin Federline, whom she was married to from 2004 to 2006.)
Spears’ visit to Dollywood comes less than two months after Dolly Parton died at age 80 following the country singer’s “brief” and private battle with cancer.
In a separate upload on Tuesday, Spears documented walking around Dollywood with her family. She captioned the Instagram video, “😈📐😈.”
While Spears was estranged from her sons for years, she has since mended her relationships with them. In June, Jayden and Preston made their runway debut at Paris Fashion Week and reflected on receiving their mom’s support ahead of their milestone moment.
“She wasn’t there with us, but she sent us flowers to our hotel as a good luck thing, and called and texted us so many times,” Jayden told Vogue in July. “It was good to have that and to carry that with us before we went out there.”
In September, Spears publicly paid tribute to her sons on their respective birthdays, which are just two days apart.
“Happy birthday to my handsome young boy oh dear lord we have this beautiful thing called life in front of us, it’s such a beautiful delicate thing,” she wrote via Instagram alongside photos of Jayden. “I hope I can be the best mommy in the world every day of ur life!!!!”
Hours later, Spears honored son Preston.
“Happy early B-day to u as well,” Spears wrote via Instagram. “Please stop working out so much because your muscles r starting to scare me …. JK! Well 🤦♀️🤔 I’m so proud of the young man you have become.”
While sharing a throwback photo of her sons in a golf cart, Spears added, “P.S. This was in London, strolling in the park …. Preston absolutely loved London!!!” She then uploaded two additional photos of Preston, which she captioned, “Happy b day baby!”
