Everything old is new again! Brooke Shields posed in front of a sign with the words “Le Lagon Bleu” on Thursday, July 30, in a cheeky nod to her iconic role in the film The Blue Lagoon — 35 years after the fact!

In the fun snap, the 50-year-old actress wears a light-blue collared shirt and aviator sunglasses, with a messenger bag draped across one shoulder. The pic shows her shrugging and smiling in front of what looks like a Disney theme park stand.

The mother-of-two — who shares two daughters Rowan, 12, and Grier, 9, with husband Chris Henchy — was just 14 when she starred in 1980’s The Blue Lagoon opposite 18-year-old Christopher Atkins.

In the film, the two played children who were shipwrecked on a tropical island in the South Pacific, and later grew up to recognize their mutual attraction to one another. The film received criticism for its underage nude scenes, though it was later revealed that Shields had a body double.

Their chemistry famously carried on off-set as well.

“Brooke and I had a little bit of a romantic-innocence sort of romance in the very beginning of the film,” Atkins told Oprah Winfrey in a 2013 interview. “It was very nice. We were very, very close friends, put it that way!”

Earlier this year, Shields showed fans that she’s still got it when she flaunted her toned bikini body while on vacation in Mexico on New Year’s Day.

“When I sweat the small stuff, then I don’t look my best and I really think surrounding yourself with good people is key,” she said in an interview with Extra at the time. “And enjoying your life — don’t be so hard on yourself!”
