Bunnie Xo doesn’t have time for haters after going public with Calabasas Confidential’s Dylan Wolf earlier this summer.
“Hey guys, I’m having fun & he gave me my smile back 💞,” Bunnie, 46, replied in the comments section of her Sunday, September 20, TikTok video after stepping out with Wolf, 24.
Bunnie clapped back at trolls criticizing the pair’s 22-year age gap, adding, “Ya girl is living her best life — let meeeee k thanks byeeeee.”
The “Dumb Blonde” podcast host’s comments were in response to backlash over a new TikTok she posted of the pair dining out at an undisclosed Waffle House location.
“POV: It’s his first time at Waffle House,” Bunnie wrote alongside the video, which featured her pouring syrup on Wolf’s pancakes as they sat side-by-side at the table.
Wolf then playfully flew a piece of the pancake into Bunnie’s mouth as she smiled from ear to ear as Mel McDaniel’s “Baby’s Got Her Blue Jeans On” played in the background.
“Scattered & Chunked pls 💫,” Bunnie captioned the clip.
While Bunnie and Wolf were visibly smitten with each other during the outing, some of Bunnie’s followers questioned the romance.
“And I also wanted to say, of course it’s his first time at Waffle House. He just got his drivers license and is allowed to stay out till 11 o’clock finally! 💪🏼🤣,” one user wrote in the TikTok comments, poking fun at their age difference.
A second person joked, “It’s a school nite don’t keep him out to late,” while a third user claimed, “😬😬 I’m all for the girlies, But this is a creepy age gap for men, So its creepy this way too.”
Some of Bunnie’s followers, however, were happy she is getting back out there following her divorce from Jelly Roll earlier this year.
“I love it I’m on my way to my first relationship after my divorce he’s 18yrs younger 🥰🥰🥰,” one user wrote in the comments.
A separate user defended Bunnie’s romantic choice, writing, “She’s having fun, y’all. She’s going through a major life transition and if he makes her feel good, let her be. She’s smiling in these videos and I’m sure there’s tears we don’t see. People are complex and more than one thing can be true at a time.”
Bunnie’s budding romance with Wolf comes just three months after Us confirmed in June that Jelly Roll, 41, had quietly filed for divorce from the Stripped Down author one month prior.
The former spouses, who tied the knot in 2016, finalized their divorce in July, citing “irreconcilable differences” as the reason for their split.
According to the divorce settlement, Jelly Roll agreed to give Bunnie a “lump sum equitable property division,” according to court docs obtained by Us. The amount, however, was not publicly shared. The exes also waived their right to alimony, per the filing.
The same month their divorce was finalized, Bunnie was spotted making out with Wolf at Jelly Roll’s bar in Nashville during the 4th of July weekend.
When Bunnie purchased a new Rolls-Royce on July 25, Wolf was by her side, according to a social media video she posted at the time.
The pair have since popped up on each other’s Instagram pages and been seen hanging out at rodeos, which is no surprise to fans of Calabasas Confidential, who were introduced to Wolf as the “Calabasas Cowboy” during season 1 of the Netflix series.
Earlier this month, Wolf even shared a photo of him and Bunnie at a rodeo via Instagram, captioning the upload — and many other pictures — “Unsupervised.”
