True love does exist! On Wednesday, July 15, Catelynn Lowell and Tyler Baltierra celebrated their 10-year anniversary. The engaged Teen Mom OG stars are set to officially tie the knot next month, but that didn’t stop them from reflecting on their decade together.
“Wow today marks 10 YEARS! With my amazing man!” Lowell, 23, captioned a throwback picture of the couple via Instagram. “Im the SO blessed to have you! Thank you so much for all that you do and for being an amazing daddy! My life would be so dull without you in it… I love you with every ounce of me! Looking forward to the next 10 years and next month you will be my husband!!! xoxo love you to the moon and back! @tylerbaltierramtv.”
The pair are actually the only remaining original couple from the MTV franchise after starring on 16 and Pregnant together back in 2009.
After giving birth to their daughter Carly, Lowell and Baltierra placed the newborn for adoption, an emotional decision, which was documented on Teen Mom. Then on New Year’s Day of this year, they welcomed their second daughter, Novalee, whom they parent together.
“Today is 10 years together with this beautiful soul & I can’t be happier with my life right now,” Baltierra captioned a recent selfie with his future bride. “I have 2 beautiful daughters & an amazing woman to share the rest of my life with! From the age of 13 years old we literally grew up together, we survived with each other, we conquered chaos with each other, & I loved every second of every minute!”
The Michigan natives are also excited for their upcoming nuptials.
“We got lucky finding each other so young & I can’t wait to make you my wife next month @catelynnmtv & spend the next 10 years loving you, caring for you, supporting you, & reminding you every day that you are special, your are beautiful, & as long as I am alive, you will never be alone,” Baltierra added. “Thank you babe for making me the luckiest guy in the world to be wrapped by the wings of a pure angel like yours #LoveThisGirl #Happy10Years #HappyDecade.”
The pair were originally scheduled to get married in July 2013, but after working through their problems on VH1’s Couples Therapy, Baltierra postponed the event.
