Before stars ring in 2013 with a New Year's Eve kiss, Us Weekly takes a look back at the best celebrity smooches of 2012.
One memorable moment of the year was when President Barack Obama and First Lady Michelle Obama were caught on the Kiss Cam at Team USA basketball exhibition game in Washington, D.C. in July. During the second quarter of Olympic Team USA's 80-69 victory over Brazil, the Obama indulged the crowd — and their daughter, Malia, 14 — by sharing a kiss on the lips. President Obama, 51, also gave his wife, 48, a second sweet kiss on her forehead.
Another showstopping smooch of 2012? Jennifer Aniston and Justin Theroux.
The couple shared their first public liplock in May after Aniston received her star on Hollywood's Walk of Fame. The actress, 43, was so overcome with emotion that she hesitantly gave her man a kiss. Three months later, Theroux, 41, popped the question and two became engaged.
