Kendall Jenner, John Legend and More Celebs React to Beyoncé’s New Song ‘Formation’ — And Red Lobster Lyric

Taking over the world. Beyoncé surprised everyone, once again, when she dropped her brand-new single “Formation” on Saturday, February 6 — and the Beyhive was not disappointed!

Fans and a handful of celebs went crazy on social media as they watched the music video for the new track (which features a cameo from Beyoncé's daughter, Blue Ivy).

In addition to praising the video that was largely shot in New Orleans, they commented on the racy lyrics — at one point Beyoncé, 34, raps, “When he f–k me good, I take his ass to Red Lobster.”

John Legend posted a photo of President Barack Obama with his hand covering his mouth, with the caption, “When you realize your dad took your mom to red lobster every week.”

Legend’s wife, Chrissy Teigen, replied to her husband, simply stating, “This is a good tweet.”

Kendall Jenner tweeted, “take his ass to Red Lobster,” with the middle-finger emoji, in reference to the scene in the music video where Queen Bey flips off the camera.

Orange Is the New Black star Laverne Cox wrote, “Getting myself together after watching the new @Beyonce video #Formation #ISlay. #YASGAWD #Beyhive #throwback #DC3 braids.”

Gabrielle Union added, “Beyonce! Beyonce! Beyonce! #redlobster #hotsauce #blackbillgates #Formation EVERYTHING!”

But the most intriguing tweets of them all might just be those of Yahoo! journalist Shehnaz Khan, who wrote, “If you don’t have Tidal you’ll regret it I’m just saying,” hours before the song dropped. After “Formation” was released on Tidal, she wrote, “Don’t say I never warned you,” shortly before adding, “One more thing… THERE IS MORE… I hope you have all SAVED YOUR COINS.”
