Charissa Thompson took a jab at her ex-husbands during Thursday Night Football.

“I thought you were gonna make me rank my good, better, best ex-husbands, and they’re all bad,” Thompson, 44, said during the Amazon Prime Video Thursday Night Football broadcast of the Chicago Bears’ 30-24 win over the New England Patriots on Thursday, October 22.

It wasn’t the first time Thompson has joked about her exes on air. In December 2025, she joked with Michael Strahan on FOX NFL Sunday, “That’s like me and my divorces, I knew just when to get out.”

Thompson has been married twice. She first briefly tied the knot in her early 20s with a man whose identity she has kept private. Later, Thompson married sports agent Kyle Thousand in December 2020. She filed for divorce after two years in April 2022, citing irreconcilable differences.

“I had a s***ty week,” Thompson said on her “Calm Down” podcast at the time. “The news of my pending divorce came out and it’s obviously not something that I wanted at all as somebody who grew up in a family — my parents were married since [they were] 18. I trust in the institution and I’m somebody that’s been married and divorced before, so when I got married the second time, I was so hopeful that it would be what you stand up there and say it will be, which is, forever, for better or for worse and all the things.”

She continued, “I am embarrassed to admit that this is now my second divorce at 40.”

Following her divorce from Thousand, Thompson moved on with Los Angeles-based marketing executive Steven Cundari. The pair were introduced to each other through Rams quarterback Matthew Stafford and his wife, Kelly Stafford, in 2022.

Despite their years-long romance, Thompson has stated that she has no desire to get married a third time. However, after attending Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce’s wedding in July, she became inspired to celebrate her romance via a party with her friends.

“It’s not happening, well, I mean, it is happening, I’m sure,” Thompson said on her podcast earlier this month. “The backstory on this is, after going to the royal wedding this summer and being around some other friends that have incredible relationships, Steve and I are open to the idea of doing something. Not a wedding. We still don’t want to get married in the legal sense and all that, um, but we have thought about having a big party and something that we would like to do to celebrate with our friends.”

She continued, “When that’s actually going to happen, I’m not sure, but you’ll be the first to know … Also, I just want to have a party with all my friends. Someone that’s been married twice, you haven’t been at either one of my weddings. Like, there’s a time, it’s finally time for … to have something where, like, my actual circle of friends are at. So it’d be fun.”
