Chloe Grace Moretz Hints That She Turned Down Taylor Swift's Squad Offer

Chloë Grace Moretz won’t be baking cookies with Taylor Swift anytime soon. The 5th Wave actress hinted in a new interview that she may have turned down the chance to be in the singer’s star-studded group of girlfriends.

“Did she, you know, ask you to join her squad?” Complex magazine asked Moretz, 19, for its April/May cover story.

Moretz said, “Yes,” but didn’t elaborate. “She’s a very talented person,” she said.

She added of squads: “They appropriate exclusivity. They’re cliques!”

Swift’s famous friends include a laundry list of models, actresses and musicians. If she and her gang aren’t cooking or hanging by the pool, they are usually walking down the runway at one of her concerts. Last year, the “Out of the Woods” songstress, 26, invited several of her BFFs to join her on stage during every “Style” performance on her 1989 world tour.

Swift also had many pals appear in her “Bad Blood” music video, which went on to win the Grammy for video of the year in February. Stars who were featured included Selena Gomez, Karlie Kloss, Cindy Crawford, Gigi Hadid, Jessica Alba, Cara Delevingne, Lily Aldridge, Lena Dunham, Ellie Goulding, Hayley Williams, Mariska Hargitay, Ellen Pompeo and Hailee Steinfeld.
