So in love! Newly engaged couple Ciara and Russell Wilson shared a sweet video on Instagram on Sunday, March 13, from their romantic getaway to the Seychelles.
In the clip, Wilson says, “Girlfriend?” to which Ciara lovingly replies, “Boyfriend? Nah.” The happy couple then shake their heads, as the NFL player adds, “’Fiancé’ sounds way better,” while his bride-to-be giggles and kisses him on the cheek.
The pair announced their engagement on Friday, March 11, after Wilson, 27, surprised Ciara, 30, with a vacation to the scenic island off the coast of Africa — and a gigantic diamond ring.
“She was shocked when they landed in Seychelles at the exclusive resort North Island,” the singer’s rep told Us. “The biggest surprise was that Russell proposed to his new fiancée at the romantic, private Honeymoon Beach.”
“She said Yes!!!” the Seattle Seahawks quarterback wrote on Instagram. “Since Day 1 I knew you were the one. No Greater feeling… #TrueLove @Ciara.”
Since then, Ciara has shared a handful of gorgeous photos from their getaway on Instagram, including a series of stunning swimsuit shots on the beach.
“God Is Good!” she tweeted. “Grateful For You @DangRussWilson. You are Heaven Sent. I’m Looking Forward To Spending Forever With You.”
