The Vampire Diaries actress Claire Holt is engaged! The happy Australian shared her news via Instagram on Monday, July 13, posting a picture of herself and her fiance, Matt Kaplan, and proudly displaying the ring!
The photo shows the pair cuddled up, Holt's left hand casually laying on fiance Kaplan's chest as she nonchalantly displays a big rock on her engagement finger.
"Yes," the 27-year-old blonde actress captioned the photo, leaving the picture and the duo's happy smiles to say the rest.
Holt announced her decision to quit The Vampire Diaries spinoff show, The Originals, early last year, choosing to take a break from the hit CW show to focus on her private life.
"I made a life choice, not a career choice," she said at the time, explaining she felt she needed to spend time with family and loved ones, rather than on The Originals set in Atlanta, Georgia, and New Orleans.
And it seems her life choice worked out! Although Holt has been tight-lipped about her longtime love Kaplan, she regularly shares photos of the two of them together on her Instagram account.
