Clare Crawley's Bachelor "journey" took an unfortunate turn on Monday, Jan. 5. While the rest of Bachelor Nation was partying the night away in honor of the show's big season 19 premiere — starring season 10 Bachelorette hunk Chris Soules — Crawley was lying in bed and being treated by paramedics for dehydration.
The season 18 Bachelor alum reportedly told TMZ that she started to feel sick after walking the red carpet in Hollywood with other Bachelor Nation alum including Michelle Money and Tenley Molzahn. According to the site, she experienced "hot flashes, severe cramping, and unbearable nausea," and had to retreat to her hotel room during the premiere night festivities.
Money, who befriended Juan Pablo Galavis' runner-up on 2014's Bachelor in Paradise, went with her, and then called 911 when her pal got worse. Once it was clear that Crawley would be okay, she snapped a photo to post on Instagram.
"My brave little soldier made it thru a rough night of dehydration!" the season 15 Bachelor alum captioned the shot of Crawley in bed with an IV in her arm. "Long day on the red carpet for this one! Thanks to Alex and Andrew from the LAFD who provided the IV and the entertainment for the night!"
Per TMZ, Crawley chalked up her illness to dehydration, an empty stomach, and not being a big drinker normally.
Earlier in the day, the reality star was feeling much more lively. She posted multiple shots from the red carpet, including pics of her with Money, Molzahn, and former Bachelorette DeAnna Pappas' baby girl Addison Marie.
