Goodbye royals, hello Hollywood! Cressida Bonas has landed her first big screen role two months after splitting from Prince Harry, the Evening Standard reports. The socialite will star in Harvey Weinstein's Tulip Fever alongside Victoria's Secret model Cara Delevingne and Daisy Lowe.
"It's so clever," an insider told the UK newspaper. "They've cast actual models like Cara and Daisy [Lowe] to play the artists' models and for the part of the society lady they've cast Prince Harry's ex."
Bonas, 25, will also be joined by Glee's Matthew Morrison, Judi Dench, Zach Galifianakis, and Christoph Waltz for the project, which is the film adaptation of Deborah Moggach's 1999 bestselling novel.
This is a big step for Bonas, who previously kept a low profile following her split from the royal Brit, 29, last April. "Cressida will focus on work for a while," a source told Us at the time. "She has no plans to start dating people."
Prince Harry, for his part, has done the same. As previously reported, Prince William's younger brother will travel to South America next month for a six-day trip to visit both Brazil and Chile. This, of course, comes after having a brief fling with a woman while attending the May wedding of British club owner Guy Pelly and Holiday Inn heiress Lizzy Wilson in Memphis Tenn.
