“Just said ‘yes’ to this amazing man!” the athlete captioned the sweet shot, in which she and Gale are laying out on the beach in Puerto Rico. The pair have been together for 14 years.

The former Olympian previously told Us that the most important thing to her about her wedding day was to "just be with friends and family."

"It was hard to choose who goes to the wedding because I've made so many amazing friends even over the last year with Dancing With the Stars, but we really decided to stay with friends who were present on both of our journeys over the last thirteen years," she told Us at the ESPYS in July. "We just are so excited to celebrate with everybody, that's what it's all about."

Last year, Purdy won over audiences as a contestant on Season 18 of Dancing With the Stars, placing second with partner Derek Hough after champions Maks Chmerkovskiy and Olympic ice skater Meryl Davis.
