This week is going to be extra tough for Danica McKellar on Dancing With the Stars. The Wonder Years alum broke a rib while getting ready for her next routine with her partner Val Chmerkovskiy in L.A. on Thursday, April 24.
"So…I broke a rib in yesterday's #DWTS rehearsal," the 39-year-old tweeted on Friday. "Trying my best to pull thru and could use your prayers!! #wanttokeepdancing."
"Had rehearsal today..it's tough dancing with a broken rib," she added. "@iamvalc choreographed an amazing routine-fingers crossed I can pull it off!"
McKellar and the Ukraine native, 28, have consistently remained at the top of the leader board during Season 18 of the ABC series. On April 21, the dancing duo earned a 39 out of 40 for their Beauty and the Beast Disney routine. Last week, they earned a 36 out of 40.
An insider tells Us that McKellar injured her rib while trying to perfect a trick for the pair's upcoming dance number. "She is resting and trying to relax," the source tells Us. "Normally takes six weeks to recover."
As for how Chmerkovskiy is doing? Well, it seems he should do some relaxing of his own too. "Very very tough week #very," he tweeted.
