She’s one tough cookie! Demi Lovato showed off her killer self-defense moves during an intense workout that she posted on Instagram on Friday, May 6.

In the video, the “Confident” singer, 23, throws some serious punches as she ferociously elbows a padded dummy in the groin.

“I hate the word victim,” she captioned the clip. “I never have been and I never will be.”

Lovato also showed off her impressive squat form in a second video, which she simply captioned, “Friday,” with a flexed biceps emoji.

I hate the word victim. I never have been and I never will be.

Just one day prior, Lovato relieved some stress in a completely different way — a late-night Twitter rant! She took to the social-media site to slam online critics over the uproar her supposedly lighthearted dig at Nicki Minaj created.

The “Anaconda” rapper, 33, posted a photo of herself, Lovato and fashion designer Jeremy Scott at the Met Gala on Monday, May 2. Minaj tagged Scott, 40, but didn’t mention Lovato. The “Cool for the Summer” songstress later took to Snapchat, where she captioned a selfie, “When you aren’t mentioned in a post but didn’t do s–t to the person.”

“Sometimes there’s more to the story,” Lovato tweeted on Thursday. “Sometimes there’s more s–t going on than you see. Maybe you DON’T know every aspect of my life so maybe you shouldn’t assume you know. Maybe I’m tired of sharing my story with the world.”
