The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills’ Dorit Kemsley is not mincing words when it comes to her costar Kyle Richards’ estranged husband, Mauricio Umansky.
When a user impersonated Umansky, 56, in a Tuesday, June 30, Instagram video, Kemsley, 49, took to the comments section to write, “😂😂😂It’s funny… I don’t think he has any idea how much he’s changed.”
She continued, “Watching it has been equal parts disappointing and fascinating. It really makes me think Kyle brought out qualities in him that he doesn’t seem to have on his own. What’s amazed me most is how well he managed to hide this side of himself for so many years…or did he? 🤔.”
Kemsley’s comment comes nearly three years after Richards and Umansky announced their split following 27 years of marriage. Neither party has officially filed for divorce at the time of publication. (The former couple are parents to daughters Alexia, Sophia and Portia. Richards shares daughter Farrah with ex-husband Guraish Aldjufrie.)
“There are times in life that you’re wondering, ‘When should I pull the plug on this marriage?’” Richards said during the RHOBH season 15 finale. “I feel like, you’ll know when that time comes. I think there’ll be a moment where you say, ‘Ah ha, OK, this is that moment.’”
She continued, “I know that that’s going to happen for me, probably soon. So, when that moment comes, I will know and I will act on it.”

Richards — who has been on the Bravo series since its inaugural season — went on to reflect on hearing about other couples who had split after being married for several years, sharing that she did not think this would happen to her.
“I can remember I would hear about other couples that would split up after being married so many years and their kids getting married and having babies,” she said. “I would think, ‘That’s so stupid, why would they do that?’ And then, I’m like, ‘How did we get here?’”
She added, “To have all these big life moments happening now. Having Alexia go off and get married and Portia go to college, it feels strange to be on my own.”
Richards shared that her feelings surrounding her separation from Umansky switch up every day.
“Some days I feel OK and strong, and I’m proud of myself for being as strong as I am,” she said. “And other days, I feel scared. Other days I’m worried.”
