Aww, Drizzy! Drake couldn’t resist showing some love for his once-rumored girlfriend and frequent collaborator, Rihanna, during the Manchester stop of her Anti World Tour on Wednesday, June 29.
The pair had just finished performing their hit single “Work” when the 29-year-old rapper took the mic to praise Rihanna, 28.
“The most beautiful, talented woman I’ve ever seen in my life,” he told the crowd, gesturing toward the “This Is What You Came For” singer onstage. “She goes by the name of Rihanna. … I’m getting my heart broken over here.”
The “Hotline Bling” singer then gave the Grammy-winning singer a huge hug as the audience cheered.
The two have been linked since February 2014, and have been spotted getting cozy in recent months.
“Drake and Rihanna were together the whole time inside, being loving,” an onlooker told Us Weekly of the twosome at an afterparty for her show at The Nice Guy in West Hollywood back in May. “They were affectionate. They had their arms around each other.”
Another source told Us that “Rihanna and Drake are definitely hooking up.”
In February, the Barbadian songstress told Ellen DeGeneres that she was most definitely single. “I’m single right now and it’s not like I’m like, ‘Oh, pro-single, yes, I hate men!’” she said at the time. “I just think I have so much on my plate that I can’t even find the time to entertain a steady relationship or anything serious. Or even a text.”
In the past year, Rihanna has also been linked to Leonardo DiCaprio, soccer star Karim Benzema and rapper Travis Scott, while Drake was rumored to be dating Serena Williams.
