Her lips are sealed! A secret suitor made Drew Barrymore feel special on Valentine’s Day, but she’s not ready to disclose the details.
“I haven’t done anything today very significant other than come here. I did receive some flowers today and that was very nice,” the 42-year-old actress exclusively told Us Weekly at her Dear Drew pop-up shop in NYC’s SoHo on Wednesday, February 14. “I shan’t say [who from], but we can say they were flowers sent to me out of love, so that was nice.”
The Santa Clarita Diet star also danced around dishing on her relationship status. “Again, I sadly shan’t say. I’m going to play coy,” she teased. “You know, Valentine’s Day is a strange pendulum. It can make you feel really, really good, or it can make you feel really lonely. So I think Galentine’s Day is a great anecdote with the subject of the celebration.”
Us exclusively confirmed in June 2017 that Barrymore is dating businessman David Hutchinson. Although the 50 First Dates actress keeps the romance under wraps, she has been vocal about maintaining an amicable relationship with ex-husband Will Kopelman.
During her recent appearance on The Ellen DeGeneres Show, Barrymore revealed that Kopelman, 39, saw her profile on a dating app. “I got off the site. Then I’m with my children’s father, wonderful Will, in the kitchen and he walks in and goes, ‘Why are you on Raya?’ she recalled on Friday, February 9. “I was like, ‘How do you know? I was on it for four five days! How do you know I’m on Raya’ He goes, ‘Because I saw your profile. It came up on my phone like two days ago.’”
The Blended actress and Kopelman called it quits in 2016 after three years of marriage. They share two daughters together, Olive, 5, and Frankie, 3.
