Elon Musk’s ex Ashley St. Clair claimed in a recent video that he used his “space technology” during the 2024 election.
“In October, Elon tells me that he is ready to release, in his words, ‘an anomaly in the matrix,’” the former conservative influencer, 27, said in a TikTok video uploaded on Monday, May 18. “And I am like, ‘Oh who’s that?’ And he says that he has 10,000 lasers in space, referring to his satellites.”
St. Clair shared that she was “rather uncomfortable” with what Musk, 54, was allegedly insinuating at the time.
“He keeps going and says, ‘This is not a piece they’ll see on the chessboard,’” she alleged.
St. Clair also claimed that Musk started sending her “internal data” from his work with the America PAC and she alleged there were “real-time delta vote metrics” in the midst of information.
“And I’m just like, ‘How the f**k do you have this sort of data?’ You don’t get this from door knocking,” she said, explaining that was one of the first jobs she had in politics. “To have arguably the most powerful man in the world who is sending me things about using his space technology in the election.”
St. Clair shared that she was “internally wrestling with” what Musk allegedly shared with her. She also claimed that Musk bragged to her about knowing the election results before the news was made public.

“On Election Night itself, Elon left Mar-a-Lago early. I was at Mar-a-Lago, he told me over text, ‘Yeah I knew hours ago that [Donald] Trump won. My team has the best real-time data anywhere,’” she alleged. “First of all, how the f**k do you have real-time data on elections?”
St. Clair added that she could “not understand” what Musk told her and pondered if she “ever” would.
“Talking about this sounds crazy. I feel like I sound like a crazy person when I’m like, ‘Yeah he told me about his space lasers and the election.’ This is … what the f**k,” she said.
St. Clair also shared that she has all her claims “backed up with many people” and gave them “explicit instructions” on how to proceed if something were to “happen” to her. She did not elaborate further.
Us Weekly has reached out to Musk’s spokesperson for comment.
St. Clair and Musk connected in 2023. The following year they quietly welcomed son Romulus. In September 2025, St. Clair revealed that Musk was the father of her second son. (St. Clair is mother to a son from a previous relationship. Musk, for his part, has welcomed 13 additional children with three different women: Justine Wilson, Grimes and Shivon Zilis.)
Musk connected with Trump ahead of the 2024 election. The Tesla founder donated a significant amount of money to Trump’s campaign. When Trump was declared the winner of the election over Vice President Kamala Harris, Musk served as an advisor to the president and pitched the idea of creating the Department of Government Efficiency. Musk parted ways from the Trump administration in summer 2025 after he criticized the One Big Beautiful Bill.
