Enrique Iglesias Thanks Supportive Fans After Gruesome Hand Injury

Staying positive! Enrique Iglesias is thankful for his health following his gruesome hand injury — and for his fans. The Spanish entertainer gave a shout-out to his dedicated listeners via Instagram on Friday, June 5.

"Wanted to do something special to thank all you guys for your love and support this week," the 40-year-old captioned a selfie. "Leave your questions on this post!" In the pic, the "Hero" singer wrote "Thank You" on his palm.

Earlier this week, Iglesias underwent reconstructive hand surgery after cutting his fingers with a drone during a concert in Tijuana, Mexico, on May 30. At the time, he continued to perform a few more songs despite getting blood all over his white T-shirt.

"My hand is getting better little by little," he replied to a fan during a social media Q&A Friday. "I am going to Mexico at the beginning of July, so see you there!"

Iglesias is currently on the road for his international Sex and Love tour.
