Erika Kirk (née Frantzve) is taking aim at her critics.

“This culture we’re living in absorbs disagreements as a form of personal betrayal [and] it turns having an opposing viewpoint into a moral crime worthy of punishment,” Kirk, 37, said in a Wednesday, April 29, social media video. “Having lived through quite literal hell these past seven months, if you strip someone of their humanity long enough, you will arrive at the chilling conclusion that they don’t deserve to exist at all.”

She continued, “Every morning I wake up to a new headline written about me. I have comedians dressing up in whiteface [and] I have people saying I’m not fit to be CEO and I have Candace Owens claiming I murdered my husband, and the list goes on and on and on.”

Erika’s husband, conservative commentator Charlie Kirk, was shot and killed in September 2025 at age 31. He is survived by Erika and their two children. Owens, a former friend of Charlie’s, has made several conspiracy theory claims via her podcast in the wake of his death, taking aim at Erika and alleging his widow lied about several aspects of her life.

In the months since Charlie’s death, Erika has raised eyebrows for taking over her spouse’s Turning Point USA organization and making several public appearances. Druski (real name Drew Desbordes) is a Black comedian who impersonated Erika in an April social media video called “Conservative Women.” He wore a lot of makeup and a white pantsuit to resemble Erika, dancing around to Katy Perry’s “California Gurls,” preaching Bible verses and demanding an organic pup cup from Starbucks.

Erika did not mention Druski, 31, by name in her social media video. Us Weekly has reached out to the social media personality for comment.

“There is a serious epidemic of dehumanization plaguing this country,” Erika continued on Wednesday. “The most unthinkable tragedies have now become commonplace in our daily headlines, yet the media finds a way to conveniently explain away violence. This is what we’re up against.”

Erika further urged Americans to “come together and decide what kind of country [they’re] going to be” before the nation is lost altogether.

“In Romans chapter 12, verse 21, it says, ‘Do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good.’ This is why my husband created Turning Point USA,” Erika stressed. “So, we can have civil discourse and debate and open dialogue because when we stop talking to each other, bad things happen.”

She concluded, “I am choosing to fight for America for my children, your children and our humanity. We all need to do our part, and by the grace of God, we will succeed and America will remain what she was always called to be: A shining city on a hill, a light to the world.”

Erika was present during the recent White House Correspondent’s Dinner, noting in her Wednesday video that she attended in order to meet the journalists who frequently cover stories about her life. During the WHCD, a 31-year-old man was apprehended with a shotgun, a handgun and several knives. He has been charged with several crimes, including attempting to assassinate President Donald Trump.

During the shooting, Erika was seen leaving the event with several members of security, crying and saying that she just wants “to go home.”
