All Eva Mendes wants for Valentine's Day is . . . some pizza and a good cry? Speaking with Ellen DeGeneres on the Wednesday, Feb. 12 episode of ELLEN, the Place Beyond the Pines actress, 39, seemed to joke about recent rumors that she and love Ryan Gosling have gone their separate ways. When asked about her Valentine's Day plans this year, Mendes admitted that she's got nothing in the books. See the latest pics of Eva here.
"I'm not a big Valentine's Day person. I'll probably just order a deep dish and watch The Notebook or something," she cracked, alluding to Gosling's weepy romantic classic costarring his ex-girlfriend Rachel McAdams. Mendes and her hunk, 33, have been dating since early fall 2011; although the reclusive couple haven't been photographed together since October, the Gangster Squad star was recently seen driving Mendes car in L.A., squashing recent talk of a split.
During her chat on ELLEN, Mendes similarly kept a sense of humor about talk of a pregnancy.
"It's so ridiculous. Because it all started because I was didn't want to go through the scanners at the airport," Mendes recalled. "You know those x-ray scanners, which are really creepy. They basically see you naked, right. And not only that, but there's a radiation aspect to it, so I always opt out. I always ask for a personal pat down," she continued, explaining that her reluctance to go through TSA scanners meant that she was with child.
DeGeneres couldn't help but tease her. "Alright, do you want to say is it a boy or a girl you're pregnant with?"
"Oh god, no no no! No!" she said.
