Congratulations are in order! Tatyana Ali married Dr. Vaughn Rasberry during a romantic ceremony in Beverly Hills, California, on Sunday, July 17, her manager confirms to Us Weekly.
The 37-year-old bride looked stunning in a custom Amsale gown as she and the Stanford University assistant English professor tied the knot in front of their close friends and family members.
The happy couple first met on the dating website eHarmony in 2014. The 37-year-old actress previously stated that she and her future husband wrote letters for months before they even chatted on Skype.
The pair announced in March that they were engaged and expecting their first child together.
“Planning our wedding has been so exciting, but when we found out we were expecting, our perspective shifted completely,” Ali told Entertainment Tonight at the time. “We want our ceremony to really celebrate our newest blessing!”
As for Rasberry’s proposal? “He took me on a 45-minute hike in the Redwoods [in Yosemite, California], which he knows I absolutely love,” the Young and the Restless alum added. “[He] proposed in the most picturesque clearing. Just the two of us. It was so thoughtful and perfect. We’re best friends.”
Ali previously dated late actor Jonathan Brandis for six years in the ‘90s.
