George Clooney’s Elbow Injury Explained

George Clooney's idea of recuperation? Attending a football game with his love of three months Stacy Keibler, 32.

"You know it's love when your boyfriend has elbow surgery two days ago and takes you to a Ravens game," Keibler, a former Baltimore Ravens cheerleader, tweeted Sunday. "Especially when he's a Bengals fan."

In a Twitter photo uploaded by former Ravens player Jonathan Ogden, the 50-year-old Oscar winner was all smiles despite having his right arm in a sling.

The reason? The Descendants star recently had surgery to repair a torn tendon in his elbow, Clooney's rep tells Us Weekly. No other details were provided.

Hopefully the injury wasn't too serious, as the actor recently told Rolling Stone he considered suicide after injuring his spine while shooting the 2005 spy thriller Syriana.

"I started to think, 'I may have to do something drastic about this,'" Clooney revealed. "I was in a hospital bed unable to move, having these headaches where it feels like you're having a stroke."

"I was in a place where I was trying to figure out how to survive."
