What split? Gigi Hadid mentioned her “boyfriend” during a new interview at an event in Los Angeles on Friday, June 3, just one day after she and beau Zayn Malik ended their seven-month relationship.
The 21-year-old model was all smiles at the Maybelline New York Beauty Bash at the Line Hotel, where she walked the red carpet in a navy blue minidress with her hair slicked back.
During an interview with Elle at the party, Hadid opened up about everything from her biggest fears to her best beauty tip — and even gave a cryptic shout-out to her boyfriend.
When asked if she prefers spending the night out or in, the beauty chose the latter option.
“Cook. Paint. Play with my dog. Hang out with my boyfriend. Watch movies. Just chill,” Hadid told Elle of her perfect night in.
The comment appears to indicate that the pair — who as Us Weekly reported split on Thursday, June 2 — are having second thoughts.
“Like all of these young relationships, it’s back and forth constantly,” a source close to the One Direction hitmaker, 23, tells Us. “They broke up but have still been talking constantly so it’s not totally done. It changes by the minute but they did break up.”
During the Maybelline event, the Victoria’s Secret supermodel — who is the daughter of Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Yolanda Foster — also Snapchatted a video of herself lip synching to Malik’s song “Pillowtalk.” Hours later, she stepped out wearing a “Z” necklace.
