In the words of Ashley Tisdale, “We don’t need another he said, she said.” The ongoing feud between former Fashion Police costars Kelly Osbourne and Giuliana Rancic doesn’t seem to be dying down anytime soon.
Rancic, 40, has been doing several recent interviews after her controversial Fashion Police comments about Zendaya Coleman caused Osbourne to exit the E! show with host Kathy Griffin following suit a few weeks later. On Monday, April 6, Rancic appeared on the Today show to “tell the truth,” and that same day, Osbourne tweeted, “Liars ALWAYS get caught!”
“Someone called me and told me about [the tweet], and I’m like, ‘Did she say my name? Because there’s no way that can be about me because I’m telling the truth,’” Rancic said of her former costar in an interview with Extra on April 8.
At the time, sources exclusively confirmed to Us Weekly that, “The tweet is definitely about Giuliana. They’re totally feuding.”

While talking to Extra, Rancic continued to insist that the “patchouli and weed” joke she made about Zendaya’s dreadlocks was written for her.
“What happened was a joke was written for me that was in reference to the hippie culture,” Rancic said. “And so someone wrote that line, and that’s fine and I’m not blaming him because he truly did write it to be about hippies. It was a bad joke.”
Though she plans to come back to Fashion Police, Rancic did admit that the incident was traumatic for her.
“I was horrified to have my name in headlines that were insinuating that there were racial undertones,” she said. “It was something that I would never expect in my wildest nightmares to happen to me.”
