A smoother landing: Five months after Harrison Ford sustained critical injuries in a plane crash, the pilot, 73, inadvertently touched down his helicopter at a wedding site in Saddlerock Rock Ranch in Malibu, Calif., in August.
“The reception was about to be held in the same area where they allow choppers to land,” says an onlooker. His wedding gift for the newlyweds, adds a source, was a pic with the bride and groom!
The fearless Indiana Jones actor celebrated his most recent birthday in the skies with his wife, Calista Flockhart, and their son Liam, 14, on July 13. “They went to Napa for the day,” a source told Us.
Despite the actor’s accident in March, the Supergirl actress, 50, told Us that she stands by her husband. “You know, he loves it, so I love it,” she said of Ford’s hobby of flying. “And I support him 100 percent in that.”
Ford, who is starring in the upcoming Star Wars: The Force Awakens, was hospitalized with a broken pelvis and ankle after he was forced to crash-land his plane back in March. By May, he had returned to the skies.
