Calista Flockhart

Calista Flockhart, best known for her leading role in the Fox legal series Ally McBeal, was born on November 11, 1964, in Illinois. Her role as the show’s title character earned her a Golden Globe and an appearance on the cover of Time magazine in 1998. Since Ally McBeal ended in 2002, Flockhart has appeared in stage productions and minor film roles. Her 2006 return to the small screen playing Sally Field‘s daughter Kitty Walker on the dysfunctional family drama Brothers & Sisters was met with critical and popular success.
In 2002, she accidentally spilled wine on Harrison Ford‘s Golden Globe at the ceremony; this chance encounter has led to a lasting romantic relationship. The couple wed in Santa Fe, New Mexico in June 2010. Ford helps Flockhart raise her son, Liam, whom she adopted in 2001.
