Friendliest exes ever? Heather Locklear and ex-husband Richie Sambora certainly didn't look like a divorced couple when they vacationed together in Hawaii with daughter Ava Sambora this month. In fact, the former spouses — who split in 2007 after 13 years of marriage — looked pretty chummy.
The Melrose Place actress, 52, stunning as ever in a breezy white sundress, was all smiles as she walked alongside the ex-Bon Jovi guitarist, 54, on a beach in Kona, Hawaii, on Sunday, March 30. Sambora was in good spirits, too, chatting and laughing with his ex while they strolled.
"Another beautiful morning in paradise," he tweeted a few days earlier on March 27. "Life is good. Peace."
Life is indeed good for the modern family. Last month, Sambora raved to Us Weekly that he and his 16-year-old daughter (an aspiring actress who appeared in Judd Apatow's 2012 movie This Is 40) were getting along splendidly. "I'm lucky, lucky, lucky because she's a really great kid," he told Us at the 22nd annual Movieguide Awards. "I have a great relationship with her."
And with her mom. "We're very good. It's actually even beyond for [our daughter's] sake," the rocker told Access Hollywood Live of his ex-wife in September 2012. "Heather and I really respect each other and we've become better friends, I think, now that we're not married."
Since splitting from Sambora in 2007, Locklear has been linked to plastic surgeon Marc Mani and her Melrose Place costar Jack Wagner, to whom she was engaged until November 2011. Sambora, meanwhile, dated Denise Richards on and off until 2012.
