They’re Instagram official! Hilary Duff confirmed her relationship with her new boyfriend, Jason Walsh, with a sweet kiss shared on the social media app on Sunday, October 16.
The Younger actress, 29, and Walsh, who is also her personal trainer, first ignited relationship rumors after stepping out together earlier this year, but this marks the first time Duff officially announced the news.
“Date night with J,” she captioned the black-and-white Instagram shot (alongside a red-heart emoji) on Sunday afternoon. In the pic, the lovebirds lock lips as he presses her up against a wall.
The “All About You” singer nearly spilled the beans on her new romance during an interview on Fox 5’s Good Day New York last month. “We’ve known each other for a really long time, and he’s a great guy and we have a lot of fun together,” she gushed on September 26. “It’s nice to have that excitement in my life.”
Days earlier, the new couple were photographed holding hands while shopping in New York City’s SoHo neighborhood.
“Hilary is really into him and says he is sweet to her and is so hot. She’s really happy,” a source told Us Weekly in June. “They spend at least four nights a week together and it’s getting serious.”
A second insider added, “Jason and Hilary are so cute together! They were friends and really not dating for a long time, but now they are and it’s really cute. He is really good for her and treats her well.”
Duff was previously married to retired NHL star Mike Comrie, with whom she shares son Luca, 4. The former couple finalized their divorce in February, two years after they separated.
