The premiere of Jon & Kate Plus 8 was the TLC reality show's most watched episode of all time. Some 9.8 million viewers tuned in to watch the couple discuss their martial problems. Us Weekly has reported Jon had an affair with a 23-year-old teacher, and Kate is "inseparable" from her bodyguard.

To compare: the season finale of Lost attracted less viewers, at 9.2 million. In the 18 to 34 demo, the premiere had 3.1 million viewers — No. 2 to just the American Idol finale. The premiere doubled the Season 4 finale of Jon & Kate, which had 4.6 million viewers.

On Monday's show, the couple of nearly 10 years admitted they weren't sure about their future. "I don't know…parents of multiples have, like, triple the divorce rate, and I was thinking we were gonna beat that. I don't know if I can say that anymore," Kate said.
