Days after Kendall Jenner and Jacob Elordi were seen getting cozy with each other at Coachella 2026, a source exclusively tells Us Weekly that the two are “casually seeing each other.”
“It is not serious, but they have been ‘hanging out’ for a few months now,” the insider shares. “It started around awards season in January when they kept running into each other, and felt a deeper connection. They have known each other socially for years now and have hung out in similar circles, but it became romantic recently.”
The source adds that Jenner, 30, thinks Elordi, 28, “is a really cool and down-to-earth guy.” And though the Calvin Klein model “doesn’t usually go for actors,” her sister Kylie Jenner “opened her eyes to a new world” through her relationship with Timothée Chalamet, which began in April 2023.
“Kendall really likes him and is just going with it,” the source continues. “She likes spending time with him when it works, but she’s not trying to force a relationship. It’s very much a ‘have fun when they’re in the same place’ situation. Neither of them want anything serious right now.”
Jenner and Elordi were first spotted together at the Vanity Fair Oscars Party in March. They later reunited during weekend one of Coachella, where they watched Justin Bieber’s headlining set with friends.
Though the pair have “hung out” these past few months while the Euphoria actor has been in L.A., the source says Elordi is “leaving again soon” to film another project and “doesn’t want to be tied down.”
“It has been fun for Kylie and Kendall to hang out with Timothée and Jacob together because they are all friendly and have a lot of common ground,” the source concludes. “It doesn’t happen often, but it has been fun for the four of them.”
Us reached out to reps for Jenner and Elordi for comment.
Prior to his romance with Jenner, Elordi was in an on-off relationship with Olivia Jade Giannulli for five years. The exes began dating in 2021 and briefly split for the first time in August 2022. They reunited one month later before splitting again in February 2023. Giannulli and Elordi were back together from May 2023 to January 2024 and from September 2024 to August 2025.
After a brief one-month stint between September and October 2025, Us confirmed that Elordi and Giannulli had split again.
“It was very short-lived, and they were seeing each other for about a month before they figured out it wasn’t working again,” a source told Us. “Olivia has been in NYC and Jacob has been filming, and has his home base in L.A., so distance was a factor.”
Elordi and Giannulli were last seen together in January.
As for Jenner, the Kardashians star was most recently linked to Bad Bunny from 2023 to 2024 and Devin Booker from 2020 to 2022.
