So says the Mother of Dragons! Emilia Clarke claimed in a new interview that Jay Z supposedly bought one of the coveted dragon eggs featured on Game of Thrones for none other than his superstar queen Beyonce.
"Apparently Jay Z bought one for Beyoncé, or something," Clarke, 28, told Harper's Bazaar in its June 2015 issue. "I don’t know."
The hip-hop mogul was one of the lucky buyers. Clarke — who plays one of the many claiming to be the rightful heir to the Westeros throne and true mother of dragons Daenerys Targaryen in HBO's smash fantasy series — also wanted an egg of her own.
"They are really, really, really expensive and they are really f—ing heavy," she told the mag, "and serious works of art."
After all, they are dragon eggs. In the series, Clarke's character is currently priming her two remaining dragons for war. Her escaped third dragon, Drogon, charred and killed an innocent child last season.
Clarke told Us Weekly to anticipate more from Dany and her dragons this season.
"You'll get to see the fire in her belly," she mused to Us at the season 5 red carpet premiere last month. "You'll see a bit of the Targaryen coming out. And her dragons, bloody teenagers! They are beginning to act up and she's beginning to understand how to wield their power… I think she's getting ready for the Iron Throne."
