Jenelle Evans is back on the right track with her ex-fiance. The Teen Mom 2 star and Nathan Griffith are working out their differences following the reality star's arrest for domestic violence, Us Weekly can confirm.
Evans, 23, turned herself in late last month after attacking Griffith outside his home. The exes, who split months ago, are parents to 11-month-old son Kaiser. (She's also mom to son Jace, 5, whom she had with ex Andrew Lewis.)
Evans' lawyer, Amy S. Lawrence, tells Us that the pair are "absolutely" on speaking terms following the incident. The case was dismissed on Thursday, June 4, "due to evidence as well as the request" of Griffith.
As previously reported, Evans joined the dating app Tinder just one day after her arrest. According to Lawrence, she's also finishing up her externship, and is graduating with a Medical Assistant's degree from Miller-Motte College in Lynchburg, Va., in two weeks.
"She is doing great," Lawrence tells Us. In addition, "[Jenelle and Nathan are] going to do some co-parenting classes and work out a custody schedule; that way they can be the best parents they can be for Kaiser."
On Friday, Evans even took the time to talk with her baby boy during work. "Favorite part of my day," she captioned a sweet Instagram pic. "Lunch break FaceTime with my babbbbby."
