Prim would be so proud! Taking time out of her nonstop filming schedule, Jennifer Lawrence visited the Shriners Hospital for Children in Montreal, Canada, on Friday, Aug. 7, where she surprised a group of young patients—and, per usual, completely melted our hearts.
The Hunger Games‘ leading lady, 24, who is in town to film the upcoming X-Men: Apocalypse (costarring James McAvoy and Michael Fassbender), met with a group of youngsters being treated at the facility, chatting with them, posing for pictures, and signing casts (even a little baby one!) with a big Sharpie marker.
Shriners, of course, could not have been more grateful for the treat. “A very special visitor stopped by our Canada hospital today. Jennifer Lawrence is in Montreal filming a new movie and she made time to visit some of our #ShrinersCanada kids and staff,” the hospital’s staff wrote via its Facebook page, where four photos of the Oscar-winning actress’ time at the hospital were shared.
Shriners added, “Everyone had a great time!”
And no wonder. Lawrence, who donned a gray tee and white jeans for the visit, was spotted kneeling down next to the kids in more than one photo, bringing a huge smile to the children’s faces. She even posed with the staff, who looked truly excited to be meeting the big-screen star.
