Jennifer Lopez’s ex-husband Ojani Noa claims Sean “Diddy” Combs threatened them after he confronted the disgraced music producer about his alleged affair with the “On the Floor” singer.
“She cheated on me with Diddy. … It was the year she dumped him. We were still friends, and we had decided to start over again,” Noa, 52, told The U.S. Sun in an interview published on Saturday, July 25. He added that Lopez, 57, deserved to be “forgiven once” for her past “mistakes.”
“She had tried to dump Diddy before, and he had threatened her and her family,” Noa alleged before recalling his first confrontation with the Bad Boy Records founder, 56.
“He turned up to her assistant’s birthday party in Los Angeles,” he claimed. “I went over to him and told him to leave, and he told me to back off. He asked me who I was, to which I replied, ‘F*** you.’ I told him he had slept with my wife.”
Noa then recalled Lopez stepping in between him and Diddy, telling Noa that the “I’ll Be Missing You” rapper would leave the party — but he didn’t.
“I got upset with her, and at the end of the night, she got in his car and left,” he said.
According to Noa, a few weeks later, he received a call from a “terrified” Lopez after Diddy allegedly showed up to her Los Angeles home and began screaming her name.
“She said she was scared and afraid, so I instantly left work and came over,” Noa claimed. “When I got there, it was pitch-black and I couldn’t see anyone, so he must have been hiding. As I drove in, he started shouting and telling her he knew I was inside.”
Noa said Lopez warned him not to confront Diddy.
“She told me he had guns, but I told him that I would f*** him up,” he alleged. “She said she was going to call the cops, but a neighbor must have called them, as they turned up and Diddy ran away.”
Noa added that Lopez had previously warned him that Diddy could “do bad things,” but the actor told the record exec he was a “coward.”
“That’s why he was always with bodyguards with guns because anyone could take him one on one,” he noted.

Noa and Lopez met in 1996 while the former was working at Gloria Estefan’s restaurant in Miami. The pair tied the knot in February 1997 and divorced in January 1998.
“Everything was great and we were so in love,” Noa recalled to The Sun. “I was in charge of launching a nightclub in L.A. called The Conga Room, which was part-owned by Jen, while she went off to make her debut album — On the 6 — in New York and Miami. That was when Diddy was drafted in to help produce several tracks.”
Noa continued, “She started hanging out with Diddy more and more, and I started seeing her less and less. Then the rumors started. I still had a lot of friends working in Miami hotels who would call to say they had seen them hanging out and leaving together.”
Noa alleged that Lopez would tell him she and Diddy were just working, but he became more suspicious when a photo surfaced of the Atlas star sitting on the producer’s lap.
“We started to fight really badly, as I knew she was cheating on me,” he claimed.
Lopez has not publicly responded to Noa’s cheating allegations. She and Diddy went public with their romance in September 1999 — more than one year after her divorce. The pair split in 2001.
Diddy is currently serving a 50-month prison sentence after he was convicted in July 2025 on two counts of transportation to engage in prostitution.
Following her divorce from Noa, Lopez was married to dancer Cris Judd from 2001 to 2003, singer Marc Anthony from 2004 to 2014 and actor Ben Affleck from 2022 to 2025. She and Anthony, 57, share 18-year-old twins Max and Emme.
