Squeal! Jessica Simpson shared an adorable family photo of herself with husband Eric Johnson and their two kids on Saturday, October 15.
The sepia-tone image, which Simpson posted to Instagram, shows Maxwell, 4, and Ace, 3, with open-mouth smiles as they goof off for the camera. The 36-year-old fashion designer puckers her lips at the camera while Johnson, 37, grins and snaps the photo.
“Travel buddies,” she captioned the photo.
Just two days earlier, Simpson shared another snapshot of her two little ones (all grown up!) standing on the stairs to an aircraft. “Up Up and Away #maxidrew #aceknute,” she captioned the brother-sister pic. In it, the pair tightly embrace a Woody doll from Toy Story between them.
The family trip marks a nice getaway for Simpson, who launched a footwear portion for her athleisure line, the Warm Up, this past August.
“I don’t always have time to do a quick change from a workout to playing with my kids to going out to lunch or approval meetings,” the busy mom told Extra of her hectic schedule. “So being able to create active apparel and sneaker styles that work both at the gym and on the go fits well for my lifestyle and my collection.”
Earlier this year, Simpson chatted with the Huffington Post about her kids’ milestones, including Maxwell’s new interest in dancing.
“My daughter is trying to learn to break-dance at the moment,” she told the site. “She has one move — she puts her hands down and puts her leg up like she’s break-dancing.”
“My kids are stars in my own eyes,” she added. “I would never force the entertainment business on them or anything like that, but I do think they’re already more talented than me.”
