Jill Duggar is the proud new mom of…twins! Well, no, that’s actually a lie. Her brother Josh Duggar (how rude!) teased 19 Kids and Counting fans via Twitter that his younger sister had a surprise delivery, but it unfortunately turned out to be a good ole April Fools’ Day joke.
“Congrats to @jillmdillard @derick4Him on the surprise birth — twins!!!” Josh, 27, tweeted to his followers on Wednesday, April 1. Quick to come clean, however, he added: “#19Kids #AprilFools.”
Josh’s teasing isn’t too far off — at least the giving birth part! Jill, who is expecting a baby boy with her husband Derick Dillard, is now a week past her due date. (Josh is a parent himself. He shares daughter Mackynzie, 5, and sons Michael, 3, and Marcus, 22 months, with his wife Anna Duggar. They announced in December 2014 that they are expecting a fourth.)
While her big brother took part in April Fools’ Day, Jill was actually relaxing at home. She had a notebook out, index cards ready, and had her laptop on to do some last-minute work.
“Getting some things done while anticipating the arrival of our little man any day!” she captioned the Instagram photo, while showing off her baby bump. “#babydilly.”
