News to him! Jon Gosselin may not be on good terms with Kate Gosselin, but he's not about to trash the mother of his children on social media. The former reality star-turned DJ told Us Weekly that he didn't mock his ex-wife following her recent split from millionaire boyfriend Jeff Prescott.
Gosselin, 38, said that the rumors were even brought to his mother's attention. "No, my mom was like, 'What?'" he told Us. "I was like, 'What are you talking about?'"
"I have teenage kids now who are on social media," he added to Entertainment Tonight. "They read everything, and the last thing I'm going to do is trash their mother."
As previously reported, Kate split from the COO and co-founder of Dreamstime over Labor Day weekend after eight months of dating. The Celebrity Apprentice alum is reportedly "devastated," while Prescott has already moved on to a 26-year-old blonde.
Amid the news, it was rumored that Jon posted the "praising celebration hands" emoji on his private Facebook page. The dad of eight reveals the incident did happen — but on a fake account.
"[It's] a constant source of frustration, to see impostors post the most ridiculous things," he told ET, adding that he has both a private and public account.
Kate and Jon split in 2009 and are parents to twins Cara and Mady, 14, and 11-year-old sextuplets Aaden, Collin, Hannah, Alexis, Leah, and Joel. Back in January, Kate said at a Television Critics Association panel that she has no relationship with her ex. Jon, who reportedly was seeking full custody of his daughter Hannah in May, has been dating a registered nurse named Colleen Conrad since July. He's keeping busy as a disc jockey, and has upcoming New York gigs already lined up for himself and his tour DJ, DJ N-Do.
