Josh Lucas: Jennifer Lopez Was a “Phenomenal” Kisser, Our Sex Scene Was Too Hot for Film

He luhs ya, mami! Josh Lucas had high praise for his former costar Jennifer Lopez when he caught up with Andy Cohen on Watch What Happens Live on Thursday, Jan. 8.

Joined by second guest Lucy Hale, host Cohen, 46, asked Lucas about the best movie makeout of his career. The Mysteries of Laura star, 43, did not take long to answer.

"I gotta agree with Jennifer Lopez, who I heard was here and said it was me," Lucas began. "She was phenomenal."

"She was phenomenal in many ways in that way," the actor continued. "We did this movie called An Unfinished Life with Robert Redford and Morgan Freeman and we have a phenomenal sex scene in a car that was so good [that] I guess it was cut out. They needed to get it a rating that was a little more PG. It was fantastic."

Lopez, 45, touched on her steamy moment with Lucas earlier this year.

"Best on-screen kiss, I would have to say… it came right to my mind… it was Josh Lucas," she spilled. "We had a very… I felt, I hope he would say the same… that we had a very good kiss."

After separating from his wife Jessica Ciencin Henriquez earlier this year, Lucas may have a chance with his favorite leading lady again in the future, as Lopez told Us Weekly this week that she is back on the market.

"I’m single right now," she said. "I think being on my own has been really great for me. There was a time where I was just like 'Ehhh, I'm just not going to deal with anybody, I just want to be on my own.' Now I'm getting back into the mix."
