Hough's heart is on her sleeve! Dancing With the Stars judge Julianne Hough shared a rare Instagram photo with her boyfriend Brooks Laich on Wednesday, Dec. 3, sharing some insight on their burgeoning romance.
"A little nature walk with the loves of my life!" Hough, 26, wrote alongside an outdoor photo with Laich and her two dogs. "Amazing goal tonight sweetheart! @brookslaich xoxo."
The Safe Haven actress and Washington Capitals hunk, 31, started dating last winter. As previously reported, the two were set up by their mutual friend Teddy Sears. Before Laich, Hough and Ryan Seacrest were an item for nearly three years, although their romance ended in March 2013.
"Every relationship, there was nothing wrong or bad, but there was nothing right," the dancer reflected in the August 2014 issue of Redbook. "I had one foot out because I didn’t want to get hurt. And I didn't say what was on my mind because I didn’t want to ruffle any feathers. I needed to be perfect."
Hough experienced a complete change of heart after some self-reflection following her split from Seacrest. "I had this epiphany when my family went to a six-day seminar [last November] about creating your own destiny," she told the mag. "I learned so much about myself and why my relationships didn’t work that by the end I was on a high… The next day my Curve costar introduced [Brooks and me]. It couldn’t have been a better time. We’ve been open and honest from day one."
