Parents’ night out! Justin Timberlake and Jessica Biel excitedly welcomed baby Silas into their lives this past April, but as a result, the new parents haven’t had a lot of time to themselves, they joked while speaking at the GLSEN Respect Awards in Beverly Hills on Friday, Oct. 23.
The power couple, who stepped onstage together to deliver a moving speech about acceptance and tolerance for the LGBT community, were at times serious and at times silly.
“We want to thank you for leading the way to make our schools more safe, [and for] inspiring us for all of our children,” Biel, 33, said.
“Also, thank you for allowing mommy and daddy to have a really good night out together,” Timberlake, 34, joked. “With adults. Honey, look around, this is what adults look like. They do exist! They don’t smell like poopy diapers. …some of you do.”
“And we’re okay with that!” Biel chimed in.
“You know who you are,” the former boy-bander added.
In September, Timberlake sat down on pal Jimmy Fallon’s late night talk show to talk about the excitement of being a new father.
“It is the most insanely amazing, wonderful, unbelievable thing to ever happen to you,” he gushed about the experience, sharing several precious snapshots of their little bundle of joy.
Timberlake and Biel currently reside in the exclusive Yellowstone Club in Big Sky, Montana, and sources have previously told Us Weekly that they intend to raise Silas, 6 months, away from the glitz and glamour of Hollywood.
“They want to raise him out of the spotlight,” the source told Us.
