Moving on! In a new cover story for Cosmopolitan’s April issue, Kaley Cuoco opened up about looking for love following her divorce from Ryan Sweeting. According to the Big Bang Theory star, she’s interested in finding Mr. Right — but not necessarily walking down the aisle for a second time.
While the 30-year-old actress admitted that her split from tennis pro Sweeting, 28, “changes the way I look at marriage, and that makes me sad,” she revealed that her positive outlook on finding her soulmate remains intact: “It does not change the way that I look at love. I cannot wait to be in love again.”
She may be eager for a new man to sweep her off her feet, but Cuoco is disinclined to jump into the dating pool so soon. “I don’t feel like I am ready yet … which is so different for me,” she added. “I dive into everything.”
As Us Weekly previously reported, Cuoco and Sweeting — who wed in a lavish New Year’s Eve ceremony on December 31, 2013 — split after 21 months of marriage in September 2015.
“Kaley Cuoco and Ryan Sweeting have mutually decided to end their marriage,” her rep told Us in a statement at the time. “They ask for privacy at this time. No further statement will be issued regarding this matter.”
Though she has been rumored to be dating her Big Bang Theory costar and former boyfriend Johnny Galecki again, Cuoco shut down speculation out of consideration for Sweeting’s feelings.
“Johnny and I are very close now, but the worst part about that is I don’t want stories like that, especially during this divorce, to hurt my ex,” she explained to the mag. “We have nods with each other. Johnny and I do this thing like a nod that says, ‘I got you. I get it.’”
