Meant to be! Kaley Cuoco and Karl Cook opened up about their engagement in a new interview.
“We have been each other’s true other half since day one and we can’t wait to spend forever together,” the couple, who are on the cover of Sidelines magazine’s January 2018 issue, told the equestrian publication. “Dogs, horses and all!”

Cook, 26, then recalled how the pair’s shared love for horses brought them together. “We met at Thermal in 2016 and the day we met I actually ended up asking her out to dinner. We went to dinner that night and we’ve been together ever since,” the equestrian revealed. “We met each other because of horses. Horses are a big part of our lives individually and together it’s amplified because it’s something we share and we can do it together.”
The 32-year-old actress, who rose to fame as Penny on The Big Bang Theory, also told the magazine that she is “unsure what [her] future holds” after the show, which has already been renewed for season 12. “I think about it all the time and all I can say is it will include a lot of horses, dogs and free time with Karl,” she said. “I will never be done working, since it’s what I do, but I look forward to a change of pace.”
As previously reported, Cook proposed to the 8 Simple Rules alum on her 32nd birthday last month. The Charmed veteran opened up about her relationship during an exclusive interview with Us Weekly in August.
“I couldn’t be happier. I feel very, very lucky that I found someone like him,” she gushed at the time. “He’s got such a great sense of humor. I like it when I’m bugging him, bugging him and then I finally get that laugh which just kills me. He’s a real person and I think the big deal was knowing how much he loves dogs and horses — that’s always on my checklist. ‘Must love dogs’ is No. 1, and he checked that off quite quickly and I fell very hard.”
