Kanye West Blasts “Manipulative” Jimmy Kimmel on Twitter Over Spoof of BBC Radio 1 Interview

Kanye West slammed Jimmy Kimmel on Twitter as a "manipulative media mutherf--ker" after the comedian aired a parody of the rapper's BBC Radio 1 interview

It's a mad, mad, mad, mad world — and Kanye West is a mad, mad, mad, mad guy. The rapper, 36, launched an epic Twitter tirade on Thursday, Sept. 26, after Jimmy Kimmel aired a parody of West's BBC Radio 1 interview with Zane Lowe, in which he called himself the "No. 1 rock star on the planet" and compared himself to Wreck-It Ralph's Vanellope von Schweetz.

Kimmel's parody, titled "Kanye Kid Re-Kreation," featured two little boys reenacting parts of West's interview while sipping on milkshakes. "I've reached a point in my life where my Truman showboat has hit the painting!" mini Kanye exclaimed. "I'm not trying to regurgitate myself!"

West apparently didn't see the humor in the skit. "JIMMY KIMMEL IS OUT OF LINE TO TRY AND SPOOF IN ANY WAY THE FIRST PIECE OF HONEST MEDIA IN YEARS," he wrote. "JIMMY KIMMEL, I DON'T TAKE IT AS A JOKE…YOU DON'T HAVE SCUM BAGS HOPPING OVER FENCES TRYING TO TAKE PICTURES OF YOUR DAUGHTER."

He continued: "JIMMY KIMMEL, PUT YOURSELF IN MY SHOES…OH NO, THAT MEANS YOU WOULD HAVE GOTTEN TOO MUCH GOOD P—Y IN YOUR LIFE. YOU CAN'T PUT YOURSELF IN MY SHOES. YOUR FACE LOOKS CRAZY…IS THAT FUNNY?…OR IF I HAD A KID SAY IT WOULD IT BE FUNNY???"

"SHOULD I DO A SPOOF ABOUT YOUR FACE OR YOU F–KING BEN AFFLECK…I LIKE YOU, YOU KNOW ME, I WENT TO YOUR FAMILY'S WEDDING. WHO YOU MADE IT CLEAR TO ME WASN'T YOUR FAMILY WHEN I WAS ON THE PHONE WITH YOU 5 MINUTES AGO, YOU MANIPULATIVE MEDIA MUTHERF–KER," West ranted.

Then, adding insult to injury, the rapper referenced Kimmel's ex-girlfriend. "SARAH SILVERMAN IS A THOUSAND TIMES FUNNIER THAN YOU AND THE WHOLE WORLD KNOWS IT!!!" he wrote.

Kimmel, for his part, tweeted: "Apparently @KanyeWest is VERY VERY ANGRY with me…I'll tell you the whole story tonight on the show — this is not a prank, I promise (unless it's being played on me)."

Later, in his opening on Jimmy Kimmel Live, he quipped: "Quick question: Did anyone else get a very angry phone call from Kanye West about an hour and a half ago? Just me? Okay, I didn't know if he was mad at all of us."

The host said he had gotten a phone call from the rapper prior to his epic Twitter rant. "He told me I had two choices: apologize publicly…and that was really the only choice!" Kimmel quipped. "'Your life,' he said, 'is going to be much better if you apologize.'"

The veteran comedian then read a few of West's tweets, noting specifically his use of the hashtags "#nodisrespecttobenaffleck" and "alldisrespecttojimmykimmel." Joked the ABC funnyman: "A lot of hash in those tags."

Kimmel went on to recall more of his earlier conversation with the hip hop star, saying: "He told me this on the phone, I swear. He said, 'I am the most powerful voice in media. I am 'Pac! He said 'I am 'Pac' a few times to me. He said, 'You'll never be able to show your face at a 14-year-old's high school football game and be cool again.'"

"He really is 'Pac. That's right out of the Tupac playbook, isn't it?" the host said, smiling. "I don't understand it. I don't know why he's angry again. I thought the bit was pretty innocuous. Finally I'm in a rap feud…Right now we're at Def-Kanye Five. Thanks, Kanye. Appreciate it."
