What a wedding album! Newlyweds Kate Bosworth and Michael Polish are reliving their August 31 nuptials, now that the gorgeous photos are appearing in the winter issue of Martha Stewart Weddings.
The Martha Stewart Weddings team worked closely with Bosworth and Polish to pull off the couple’s dream wedding weekend at the ranch at Rock Creek in Montana. During the extravaganza, the couple treated guests to hiking, horseback riding and fly fishing.
“I’ve been a horse rider my whole life and have always been attracted to those wide-open spaces and the big sky,” Bosworth told the magazine, on newsstands now.
The night before the big day, Bosworth, 30, and Polish, 43, had a modern hoedown to the musical stylings of country singers Kelly Willis and Bruce Robison. Bosworth wore a vintage Chloe dress for the farm-to-table feast. At each place setting, guests got a special treat: bandanna napkins featuring a monogram of the couple’s first names, designed by the groom.
On her big day, the bride, clad in Oscar de la Renta, arrived to her mountaintop nuptials in a horse-drawn carriage before walking down a wildflower-adorned aisle.
After the ceremony, the groom captured Bosworth’s beauty in a stunning shot that became the cover of the magazine.
The film director met his bride on the set of the 2011 movie Big Sur, and Bosworth revealed to Martha Stewart Weddings that the two connected on day one.
“It was that artist-muse relationship unfolding very quickly and deeply,” she gushed. “[Michael simply informed me] i’m going to marry you.”
