Back on the market. Kate Walsh and her longtime boyfriend, Chris Case, have split, Us Weekly can exclusively confirm.
The Private Practice actress and her writer-producer beau, both 47, broke up a couple of months ago, a source tells Us, noting that "it was amicable."
The insider adds: "They are just in different places in their lives and it wasn’t working. Kate has been upset but trying to get over it."
Walsh and Case walked their last red carpet together at the Chrysler John Varvatos 12th Annual Stuart House Benefit in L.A. on April 26.
The Grey's Anatomy alum rarely spoke about the relationship in public. She did, however, joke about Case having to put up with her cats during an appearance on The Ellen DeGeneres Show on April 6. She also revealed that the pair were developing a new show together.
"My boyfriend's highly allergic and it's ridiculous," she joked at the time. "His tune changed once we were like, 'Maybe there's some sort of job here for these cats.' And suddenly his tune started to change. We are making an animated series called Cat Stories."
