Katy Perry and her boyfriend, Justin Trudeau, enjoyed a glamorous red carpet date night at the Lucas Museum of Narrative Art.
Perry, 41, stepped out at the Saturday, September 19, grand opening in a strapless, white Christian Siriano gown with Trudeau, 54, on her arm. Complementing the pop star’s ensemble, the former Canadian prime minister looked dapper in a black suit.
Perry and Trudeau have been romantically linked since summer 2025.
“I have love in my life now. That’s transformed me,” Perry gushed of their relationship on Justin Tranter’s “Unfamous” podcast in June. “You think when The Beatles say, ‘All you need is love,’ it’s a cliché? Clichés are clichés for a reason … it’s like you don’t know until you have your baby how beautiful that experience is and how it transforms you.”
She added at the time, “I am constantly in transformation, and I have so many placements of Scorpio in my chart that it would be easy for me to go to the dark side. I’m constantly rebirthing, constantly transforming, constantly, you know, phoenix to ashes, then hopefully eagle.”
Perry found love with Trudeau months after her split from Orlando Bloom. Us broke the news in summer 2025 that Perry and Bloom, 49, called off their six-year engagement but remained committed to coparenting their 5-year-old daughter, Daisy Dove.
While speaking on Tranter’s podcast, Perry admitted that the past year had been “pretty tough” in the wake of her breakup.
“It would have been easy for me to fall into that weird victim triangle,” she acknowledged. “So, instead of falling into ‘woe is me,’ I was just like, ‘Let’s just feel this f***ing pain, let’s feel this anger and let’s move on. Let’s learn from it also. Let’s get some feedback from it.’”
Perry and Trudeau, who shares three kids with ex-wife Sophie Grégoire Trudeau, have since introduced their children to one another.
“They will finally have time to settle in as a blended family,” a source exclusively told Us in July. “Over the last month, they have been coparenting in Europe [during Katy’s tour], and their exes Sophie and Orlando have been there. The idea is to re-stabilize and have some down time in August to figure out the architecture of what their relationship looks like, to lay some roots down and get a proper rhythm. They want to make sure there is a stable system to nurture their kids.”
